When did your fitness journey start? And why did you get into fitness?

My fitness journey began when I was fifteen and left home to attend boarding

school in Saskatchewan. Learning to lift weights was completely new and

honestly pretty intimidating, but I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of mastering

unfamiliar skills. Over time, that challenge grew into a passion for movement,

discipline, and self-improvement.

What made you want to become a personal trainer?

While at boarding school, the head strength and conditioning coach took me

under his wing and became a mentor during a difficult chapter of my life. His

ability to make such a positive impact through his profession inspired me to do

the same for others. Many people hesitate to reach out for help because of the

vulnerability it requires, and I take great pride in using my knowledge and

empathy to create an environment that empowers others to live happier, healthier

lives.

What is your favourite style of workout? Why?

My favourite style of workout is strength training. I’m someone who’s highly

motivated by progression and measurable results, so the feeling of getting

stronger fills me with confidence. Recently, I’ve been re-incorporating more

functional training into my own programming, and I’m really enjoying how it

complements strength work.

What can clients expect from you during a session?

Clients can expect a coach who genuinely cares about their goals and well-being.

I bring an authentic and compassionate approach to my sessions, creating a safe

yet accountable environment. I love the challenge of adapting programs around

injuries, abilities, and personal preferences. It keeps the process both rewarding

and dynamic. My ultimate goal is to help clients build confidence, and I do that

through positive reinforcement, progress tracking, and open, honest

communication.

Why do you think fitness is so important?

Fitness is powerful because it holistically impacts every aspect of our well-being.

It builds confidence, develops competence, and can be adapted to all skills,

abilities, and lifestyles. It enhances quality of life by reducing the risk of injury,

disease, and metabolic decline as we age, allowing people to live with more

energy, independence, and fulfillment.

FAQ

Do you do program development?

We certainly do! You can either purchase programs or book personal training sessions and be given your workout at the end of the session.
