This announcement is long overdue but please have a read below to get to know Kailee better.
When did your fitness journey start? And why did you get into fitness?
- My fitness journey started at a very young age. I remember being in grade 8 and already stepping into the gym. I grew up playing just about every sport you name it, I probably tried it. I was that total “tomboy,” always wanting to compete with the guys, push my limits, and see what I was capable of. In the beginning, fitness was all about getting stronger and improving my athletic performance. But as I got older especially through high school that shifted. Like many young women, I began focusing more on aesthetics rather than ability. What started as a healthy outlet slowly turned into chasing numbers, comparison, and using fitness for the wrong reasons. Fast forward to today, fitness means something completely different to me. It’s no longer about punishment it’s about strength, resilience, and growth. It’s my therapy, my clarity, and my time to connect with myself.
Now, I use fitness as a tool to help women see what I wish I knew back then: That movement is a gift. That your body is capable of so much more than just how it looks. And that no matter what chaos life brings, fitness can always be your best form of medicine.
What made you want to become a personal trainer?
- I’ve always wanted to help women become their strongest, most confident selves not just physically, but mentally too. Growing up, I fell into the trap that so many young women do: using fitness as punishment instead of opportunity. That experience shaped my mission today-> to teach women that movement isn’t about restriction or guilt, it’s about growth, confidence, and creating a healthy lifestyle you actually enjoy.
What is your favourite style of workout? Why?
- I love all styles of training; movement has always been a huge part of who I am! I used to compete in CrossFit, which taught me so much about grit, endurance, and community. But lately, I’ve really been loving more traditional strength training. It has allowed me to slow things down, focus on specific muscle groups that need extra attention, and build strength in a more isolated way.
What can clients expect from you during a session?
- My clients can always expect my full attention and commitment during every session. I’m not just a coach who will challenge and push you, I’m also someone who will listen, support you, and believe in you on the days it’s hardest to believe in yourself.
Why do you think fitness is so important?
- I think fitness is one of the most powerful tools we have to take care of both our physical and mental health. It teaches discipline, confidence, and consistency & all things that carry over into every other part of life. It helps you build strength when life feels heavy, clarity when things feel chaotic, and resilience when challenges come your way. It’s one of the few things you can truly control by showing up for yourself, even on the hardest of days.
