FIND YOUR WORKOUT

Every day we have so many different types of workouts shoved down our throats all claiming to be the best. There is yoga, Peloton, resistance training, cardio, Pilates, CrossFit, HIIT training, Olympic lifting, rowing, spin class, personal training or Barre to name a few!

So the question is which workout is actually the best?

The answer is actually quite simple- it’s whatever workout you find the most enjoyable.

It’s no secret that finding the motivation to maintain a workout routine is hard. Even when we have the best intentions, it can be difficult to stay consistent with our fitness goals, but there are a few key things that you can do to make it easier to stick with your workout routine.

First, set realistic goals for yourself and give yourself credit for the progress you make. It’s important to celebrate your small victories so that you don’t get discouraged, and give up altogether. Even if the results are coming at a snail’s pace, you are still moving forward!

Second, find an activity or workout you love and make it part of your routine. If you hate running, don’t force yourself to do it every day just because you think it’s good for you. Find an activity that you can look forward to, and that won’t feel like a chore. It takes around 66 days to create a new habit, and those days will go by a lot faster if you are doing something you enjoy.

When you find a workout you love, and stay consistent with it is when you will start to see the results you are looking for. It is important to be consistent with your workout routine in order to achieve the desired results. If you ask people who have worked out for years, all will tell you that it is a part of the day they look forward to the most. Exercising should be something you do for you and only you. It is there for mental clarity, for increased energy your levels, to support with better sleep, and of course it has all of the physical benefits.

I truly believe that there is a fitness program out there for everyone and maybe you haven’t discovered yours yet. There are endless possibilities when it comes to working out, so don’t give up if you haven’t found your perfect fit yet. Try different things and explore until you find something that you really enjoy. It’s worth it to put in the effort to find a workout routine that works for you, because once you do, you’ll be on your way to a healthier and happier life.
