When did your fitness journey start?

My fitness journey began my first year of high level hockey roughly 7 years ago, when I was first introduced to the gym and everything that comes with it. But I would say about 2 years ago was when I really became engulfed in the fitness industry, strength training, and wanting to better myself while helping others along the way.

What made you want to become a personal trainer?

My passion for athletics and fitness is a key contributor to me wanting to become a personal trainer. I would also say that beginning my path of coaching high level hockey made me realize how much I love teaching and helping people become the best version of themselves.

What is your favourite style of workout?

I would say my favourite style of workout is strength training- largely due to the fact that you can feel and see the full impact. But any style of workout, and any progress that you make to better yourself is ultimately what I really love.

What can clients expect from you during a session?

Clients can expect a fun time bettering themselves with someone who is positive and upbeat. With a rewarding, energetic, and positive environment to workout in, share good conversation, and become the best version of themselves.

Why do you think fitness is so important?

I believe that fitness is extremely important for everyone, not only for the physical health side of it, but for emotional and mental health too. Setting aside time each week for physical activity is invaluable to help with every aspect of an individual’s health and wellness, and is a huge step in becoming your best self too.
